EXPLORE Day Trips

SNAKE CANYON MISSION

A day deep in the highlands kicks off in Balad Sayt, a village frozen in time with stone alleys, palm groves, and mountain walls rising all around. After soaking up the views and village charm, we drop into Snake Canyon: Oman’s natural playground of jumps, Abseils, slides, and swims through towering cliffs. We have lunch at a local farm prepared by the villagers, fresh and made with love. By sunset it’s tired legs, full bellies, and a deep sense of adventure well spent on the road back to Muscat.

CLIMB THE ARABIAN SEA

No Ropes, no crash pads, just you rock and the sea.

Head out for a deep-water solo adventure: sunburnt fingers, bold moves and big splashes guaranteed. Climb high, climb hard and enjoy the beauty of Oman’s clear waters. This is the kind of trip that leaves your skin salty and heart full.

HIDDEN VILLAGES

A day of winding mountain roads and hidden villages. Wander the stone alleys of Misfah, take in the sweeping views from Jabal Hatt, and soak up the charm of Balad Sayt. Hike, explore, snap epic shots, and let the highlands work their magic.

GRILL & CHILL

A day out east starts at Wadi Dayqah Dam, where turquoise water cuts into rugged cliffs and the views stretch wide. From there, we slip off the beaten path into Wadi Khabeel: a hidden gem most people miss. Swim the clear pools, stretch out by the water, and take in the views of the canyon.  While you chill, we fire up the grill for a laid-back BBQ lunch by the wadi. Bellies full and bodies refreshed, we pack up and roll back toward Muscat, carrying the calm of the canyon with us.

MUSCAT TOUR

Muscat is a city where heritage, elegance, and coastline all blend into one easy day out. We wander through Mutrah’s old souq and waterfront, take in the beauty of the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque, and stop by the Royal Opera House with its calm, polished architecture. Between forts, palaces, and neighborhoods shaped by centuries of trade, the city carries a sense of depth you can feel as you move through it. We wrap the cultural flow with a relaxed stop by the coast, good food, and that slow afternoon breeze that reminds you why this city is so special.

STEPS THROUGH TIME

Stone terraces climb the slopes of Wakan, where mountain air and fruit trees frame the trail. We explore the village paths, then head across to Hadash for open views and a taste of quiet highland life. On the return, Nakhal Fort stands tall against the palms - a glimpse into Oman’s history before the road back to Muscat. A mix of mountain scenery, heritage, and calm moments along the way.
